This week, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock signed a bill banning custom-made firearms, referred to as “ghost guns.” As amended, the measure will go into effect on October 1st, 2022. Last year, Governor Polis signed SB21-256 into law, giving cities and local governments in Colorado the authority to establish their own gun regulations that are more stringent than state law.
On January 11th, the County Council of Lake County will hold a vote on whether to repeal a restriction in the county’s firearm discharge ordinance.
